RockStar Coconut Water Energy Drink is one of their latest products in the RockStar “Energy + Hydration” line of non-carbonated energy drinks. They claim that it “is designed for those who need a strong energy boost when it counts – plus maximum recovery and hydration”, a “potent herbal blend” that’s packed with “B-vitamins, caffeine and electrolytes”. Not to mention plenty of sugar, considering sucrose is the second ingredient after purified water. So if you’re looking for a healthy boost of energy, look elsewhere. At 160 calories per two serving can, that’s 80 calories per 120ml (roughly half a cup). A heavy dose of “empty” calories in my books. You should also keep in mind that the can can’t be resealed because it’s a can, so you’re probably going to drink both servings now, or toss out what’s left. It’s pretty gross when it gets warm. Really? I thought this was some kind of joke at first but she’s for real. Part of the ever growing “I can be” line of Barbie dolls the Barbie I Can Be Computer Engineer Barbie Doll is complete with fashion forward pink “dork” glasses (they mean she’s intelligent), a pink netbook and oh yeah a cell phone (ugh, looks like an iphone) with hands free device, very high tech here. I fail to see what makes her a computer engineer. Maybe computer engineer was to general of a term to use as her title. If I wasn’t told that she was a computer engineer I would never have guessed it. In this day and age it’s really quit normal to have a netbook and cellphone, even for most kids. It almost even seems like an insult to people in this field to refer to her as a computer engineer. I guess calling her “Blogger Barbie” just didn’t make the cut. Maybe they did a last minute name change since I don’t think “I can be a Blogger” works as an uplifting career goal for young girls to aspire towards. I like the idea of a tech savvy Barbie. It’s a good message to pass on to girls, you can be pretty and intelligent at the same time.
