Same thing happened to me today 200 gone. I noticed the card numbers are sequential so easy to guess, the pin is only 3 digits so using the website or the phone a program could crack it in short manner. This is a horribly insecure system they use.

Thanks for this, very useful as I am researcing my first pair, and want to get a good burn out of them, almost bought a pair of XTs, but have now found some originals that I like that hopefully will make my walk to work even more effective exercise!!

I have notice not only on your site but also on the Skechets’ site that several shoes are stated differently than the burn meter on the box and certain Skechers’ site pages. For example the actual burn meter for the Original is 5/5, S2 Lites 5/5, SRT 4/5 & SRR doesn’t have a burn meter that I could find anywhere. Now you as well as Tim the Skechers’ guy states that the Originals are 4/5, S2 Lites 4/5, SRT 4/5 & SRR 5/5…..I just don’t get it unless the burn meter has been reviewed and changed for certain styles! But I feel the Skechers thing is still too complicated…I’ve done so much research and have read soooo many questions and answers and it leaves me even more confused….there were questions asked by consumers that were similar and Tim the Skechers guy often answered them different and suggested different Shape-ups! I just don’t know where to go from here…I guess it’s time to ask him my questions and see what he suggests for me or make a call to Skechers so I can hurry and get my Shape-up on!

I wish I had found your site before buying my first pair. I bought the first pair- metobolize at a local store due to a saleperson’s recommendation. After the initial adjustment, I loved them so much I bought a second pair – chosen by color-remember I knew nothing about the burn meter- of Accelerators on line. Imagine my surprise when I put them on and there was no burn. That is when I began to look into the shoes more. Although I love both pair, I wish Sketchers was more clear in “burn meters.” On their website, neither of these shoes list a burn meter.

Thank you for this. I started with a simple pair of Skechers Shape-Ups which I found to be wonderful for my purposes: I am a powerwalker who is also on my feet all day as a teacher and a graduate nurse. I happen to have three bulging discs in my lumbar spine. When I discovered Shape-Ups I thought I found the Holy Grail! I subsequently purchased some other Shape-Ups and then everything got funky. Skechers came out with so many variations on the theme that I didn’t know which ones were best for me anymore. This information that you provide will help me make decisions about future purchases. I really think there should be a central location at the Skechers website that goes through all the Shape-Ups, etc. variations and tells the potential customer which shoes are best for which application, etc. But I very much appreciate the “burn meter” info you are providing here.

I really like them both as an everyday shoe and as a workout sneaker.
The SFT’s I have help to intensify my workout just enough to really keep me sweating. Unfortunately they were the highest level I could find in stores at the time and they are just fine for now, though I am interested in eventually trying out the new runners they recently released. My husband is thinking of getting a pair. If he does ill be sure to let you all know what he thought.

How did these shoes work out for you? I’m guessing the burn meter refers to intensity of “work out” provided by the shoes, correct?

I have originals 50875 for men, which unfortunately aren’t made any longer. I’m thinking wither SRT or SRR for future reference, as XT are lame in my opinion. The 2 on the XT burn meter seems to verify my perspective…..
